Education Background

Tristano was born in Luxembourg City on September 16, 1981. He attended music conservatories in Luxembourg, Brussels, Riga, and Paris before graduating with a degree in music from the Juilliard School in New York. His teachers there included Jerome Lowenthal, Bruce Brubaker, and Jacob Lateiner. Tristano’s birthday is September 16. Musical Career

His performance at the Philharmonie Luxembourg earned him a nomination for the Carnegie Hall Rising Stars series hosted by the European Concert Hall Organization in 2008.

He is an authority on music from the Baroque period as well as modern music. In the year 2001, Tristano established the ensemble known as The New Bach Players, with whom he went on to record the entirety of Johann Sebastian Bach’s keyboard concertos for the Accord label.
