Frank Schleck, his older brother, was also a cyclist for Trek Factory Racing, and Steve Schleck, his oldest brother, is a politician in Luxembourg. Andy's dad, Johny Schleck, used to be a professional cyclist. In the Tour de France, he worked for the winners in 1968 and 1973, Jan Janssen and Luis Ocaa, and finished 19th in 1970 and 20th in 1967. He won a stage of the 1970 Vuelta a Espaa and the 1970 Luxembourg National Championships. In the 1930s, Johny's father, Gustav Schleck, also fought over things.
